Before the war, Razija Hrustanović (b. 1957) lived with her family in the village of Gladovići, in the municipality of Srebrenica.
Four members of her family were killed in the Srebrenica Genocide: her husband Dahmo (b. 1950), sons Omer (b. 1976) and Atif (b. 1979), and mother-in-law Mejra (b. 1910), whose photos she donated to the Srebrenica Memorial Center for permanent retention.
“This is all I have left of them, and it’s important to me that they are preserved as a memory of their lives and sacrifice.”
Razija’s testimony was documented within the multimedia project, “Memento: Fragments of the Srebrenica Genocide,” which is produced by the Srebrenica Memorial Center and the Post-Conflict Research Center.
